Applications now open

Applications for our remaining 2025 workshops are now open – after the summer break, we’ll be starting off in style in the beautiful Gothic Victorian church of St Agnes in Liverpool with Rory McCleery on 13 September 2025. Rory will be leading us through a wonderful programme of Portuguese polyphony, with a special emphasis on two works by Lusitano. Then on 11 October 2025, Ali Kinder is leading a workshop for bowed strings and recorders on Renaissance Italian canzonas, and Gawain Glenton will be rounding off our 2025 programme on 8 November 2025 with a workshop on the motets of Johann Stadlmayr, an important 17th century composer with a flair for large-scale works written for the Habsburg princes in Innsbruck. Early booking is advised for all of these workshops, which are likely to prove very popular.

We have also released details of our 2026 workshop programme so you can put dates of next year’s workshops in your diary now. This page will be updated as details are agreed,
